Functional medicine
Functional medicine is a patient-centric, root-cause approach that aims to address the entire person, rather than just their symptoms or diseases. We spend more time with patients to assess how genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors affect long-term health and complex chronic diseases. Functional medicine supports each individual's unique expression of health and vitality.

Tired of doctors telling you your symptoms are “normal” for your age? Following a comprehensive patient intake, we’ll schedule a 1-hour consultation to discover the root cause(s) of any current issue. From here, we can identify specific actions to help reduce your risk of death and disease while improving your quality of life as you age.
-
Want to know if you’re at risk for disease? We’ll look at your family history and use comprehensive testing to identify the biomarkers of disease processes to understand your genetic risk factors. Then craft a plan focused on their prevention and treatment. Includes:
Lab Testing
Family history
-
We’ll focus on the underlying causes of aging and your symptoms or disease process and integrate evidence-based therapies and recommendations based on physiology (how the body works).
Treatment is individualized and comprehensive. We are most successful working with individuals who are committed to preventing, slowing, and reversing diseases of aging and who share our vision of achieving vibrant health and longevity.
Our approach
The functional medicine model of care offers a patient-centered approach to chronic disease management. It seeks to answer the question, “Why are you ill?” so you can receive personalized, effective care for your symptoms and goals. Functional medicine providers spend more time listening to you and gathering your medical history than during typical office visits.
